PRACTICE AREAS

We represent clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions, including purchase and sale of real property, conveyance of easements, and the like. Our geographic practice area extends from the eastern part of Southampton Town throughout all of East Hampton Town out to Montauk Point.

We also represent clients in all types of land use and land development matters, primarily before local municipal boards and agencies in the Town and Village of East Hampton.  We handle applications for variances, special permits and natural resources special permits, wetland permits, commercial site plans, land subdivisions, lot line modifications, urban renewal map modifications, and zone changes, among many other things.

In addition to securing local government permits and approvals, we represent clients before State and County regulatory agencies such as the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and Suffolk County Department of Health Services (SCDHS).

Our practice includes litigation in New York State courts on zoning disputes and representation of clients in local Town Justice Courts on Town or Village zoning enforcement actions.
